A few years ago I found myself in a new state, away from family, and suffering.
Endometriosis was kicking my butt and it made it difficult to keep a job nevertheless find one.
What I needed was flexibility and a plan to work for myself.
Right before my big surgery I found a coach and mentor. (So thankful🙏🏾) Working with them was like a light bulb going off.
I learned how to put the skills of my past into a cohesive business with services that served Boss Ladies online around the country.
I started doing everything from Facebook ads to designing websites to funnel building and social media management.
Then I got stuck in one major area of my business, Content.
I needed to provide valuable and compelling content that my audience would pay attention to. I wanted to feature other women and share what it takes to run a creative business. But I was afraid of asking random women to share their journey with me.
I was afraid if I asked they would say no or ask what’s in it for them. Unfortunately, I allowed those negative thoughts to get in the way.
But Then Something Happened, a Conversation…
I was working with a client who was feeling stuck and as I was helping her see that doing something she hated and not trying something out fear was holding her back. I realized then,“Yo Nikita take your own advice”.
This was the beginning of my new a Spark, a new passion to content and soon to follow was my podcast.
So you see I’ve been helping women entrepreneurs get clear on the who, what and how of their businesses. I’ve helped them start something new and stop wasting time by helping them get get clear their purpose and passion. So as you can imagine was show to learn how unclear and unconnected I was to my own passion and purpose. I got so overwhelmed dealing with my endometriosis and trying to support my family in whatever way that I could that I lost my Clarity, my spark!
But By ACTION. What I realized was that I had lost my purpose and confidence. But I found it again through the help of my coach, mentors, clients and amazing creative women. Basically when I get stuck, I get moving. That’s the main way to find clarity. Don’t get me wrong “moving” means different things for different people it could even pausing to take time to reflect and research but Action with Purpose creates great momentum.
I understand that running a creative a business while living with a chronic illness or just life hurdles can be hard, but it’s not impossible.
I truly believe accountability, strategy, and implementation are essential to getting to where you wanna go. My goal is to empower women in creative businesses who are living with a chronic illness find what works because when you do you’ll spend more time doing what you love.
My Mission is to help creative women embrace their unique story to create the business & lifestyle they want, one conversation at a time.
My hubby, Maurice and I currently live in the Lawrenceville, GA with our 2 kitties, Leo & Lulu, & new Shihpoo puppy, Zoey. When we are not working we are enjoying our volunteer ministry. In my free time I love baking, crocheting, the beach and being with close friends and family.
